New to the Triad: Trade Street Diner Trade Street Diner is open in the former Sweet Potatoes at the 529 N. Trade Street location. John Tharp opened the restaurant with Freddy and Terry Lee in September. You might know Freddy and Terry from their other local restaurants such as Bernardins, Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse, and Bleu Restaurant, all in Winston-Salem.
