Winston-Salem Jaycees host 1st Annual Charity Oyster Roast The Winston-Salem Jaycees will continue its dedication to community service on Sunday, November 8th by hosting the 1st Annual Charity Oyster Roast. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the North Carolina West Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Seminar. HOBY is a youth leadership development organization featuring a 3-day summer Leadership Seminar for rising high school juniors. The seminar is an intense learning experience consisting of keynote speakers, panel sessions, and interactive skill-building activities led by North Carolina leaders. The Emporium has two locations that feature the products of 150 vendors (85 in Greensboro and 65 in Winston Salem). Both locations primarily sell handmade items and vintage goods.
