Cooper’s Ale House, located at 415 S. Swing Rd., Greensboro inside the Wyndham Garden Hotel, offers something for everybody. Johnny Mejicanos is the owner since November 2017. Johnny is excited about the new opportunity. The former Cooper’s Ale House location was at West Market Street.
Mejicanos emphasizes: “We have a friendly atmosphere, good times, great food, and service. Cooper’s provides space for private parties. This is a beautiful location for everybody and their individual needs.”
Johnny, married with two children, has previous experience that includes 13 years at a major pizza restaurant in Greensboro.
Daily specials feature Wing It Tuesday with 75 cent wings; Burger Wednesday – $6 burgers with a side, and Thursday Surf and Turf, featuring a 10 ounce steak with skewer shrimp – $11.50 with a side. Cooper’s Ale House also offers chicken, pasta, seafood, sandwiches, pizza, kid’s menu, and desserts.
New menu items include more steak, shrimp, and salads. Appetizers are made fresh daily. Green fried tomatoes, fried pickles, fried onions, potato chips, and jalapeno peppers are new delectable choices for Cooper’s Ale House customers.
Sunday – Thursday, Cooper’s will offer fresh appetizers at 50% off after 10 pm.
There are beer and wine daily drink specials always featured. Cooper’s Ale House offers a selection of over 85 beers – domestic, draft, and imported. An extensive wine

list provides customers with more than 30 choices.
A whiskey and bourbon club will be introduced as a new feature.
Johnny is proud of Cooper’s Ale House quality staff. Mejicanos states: “It takes time to train employees in the front end of the restaurant and the kitchen. Great service is the key to everything. It is the little details that matter the most.”
As part of the Wyndham Garden Hotel, private banquet rooms are offered for meetings and special events. Cooper’s will provide the food service for these functions.
Beginning in February, Cooper’s will begin a Loyalty Club. Customers can register for the program. After their 5th meal, Cooper’s Ale House will provide a FREE entrée.
Come to Cooper’s Ale House on Fridays beginning at 9 pm. Karaoke is available to belt out your favorite songs.
Listen to live music on Wednesdays from 7 pm – 11 pm and Saturdays 10 pm – 2 am. The schedule changes monthly.
Visit Cooper’s Ale House to view all the best sports and have fun. There are 30 televisions with all sports packages available. Pool tables are provided for customers to enjoy. An outdoor patio with pool tables, foosball, and darts will be available Spring 2018. Live bands will play outdoors by the patio.
The Big Eat is a collection of restaurants in Greensboro where customers receive up to 50% off regular price on signature menu items. Cooper’s Ale House is participating.
