120 Barnhardt St
Spice Cantina is the newest addition to The Railyard complex in Downtown Greensboro, located at 120 Barnhardt Street right next to The WORX restaurant. This 5800 square foot restaurant (130 seats) will provide a Mexican dining experience unique to the Triad. While our Chef hails from Central Mexico and will bring a level of authenticity to the menu items, we will also focus on dishes which will celebrate the heritage of other parts of the United States from Texas to California, with a large focus on providing a fresh dining experience with meats smoked and juices squeezed on a daily basis.
Spice Cantina is intended as a place for community, a place where friends, families, and colleagues can gather to network, celebrate, and enjoy. Whether relaxing on a couch in our vintage lounge area for one of our wonderful margaritas or sangrias, gathering for dinner with large groups at our counter top height community tables in the middle of the dining room, or “hanging out” on our 2500 square foot patio (110 additional seats), our patrons will enjoy a comfortable and unique dining experience.
The two buildings in which Spice will delight have a very unique history. The restaurant building initially constructed in the early 1900’s was home to an Ice & Coal House during the years, and the kitchen building constructed in the 1950’s was initially a Chicken Hatchery & Feed Company. We are excited to have preserved these buildings and combined them into a single building which we hope will entertain for many years!!
