Trade Street Diner is open in the former Sweet Potatoes at the 529 N. Trade Street location. John Tharp opened the restaurant with Freddy and Terry Lee in September. You might know Freddy and Terry from their other local restaurants such as Bernardins, Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse, and Bleu Restaurant, all in Winston-Salem.
John Tharp was a former chef at Bleu Restaurant and says the cuisine will be “modern Southern but with a creative twist” with a menu of his favorite dishes along with daily features. There will be a nice mix of comfort foods and featured entrees on the menu along with top rated desserts.
Trade Street Diner is open for Lunch and Dinner offering everything from sandwiches to a superb tuna tartare appetizer to pork tenderloin, braised beef shin, roast chicken, and crispy salmon as featured Trade St Diner Dinnerentrees.
