New to the Triad – Wanderlust Clothing and Accessory Boutique
By Karen Scott Wanderlust - Thomasville

The old adage, “timing is everything”, couldn’t be more true for the curator and owner of Wanderlust Clothing and Accessory Boutique, Michelle Sink. Talk about a perfect storm. With Thomasville in full speed ahead mode in the revitalization of downtown and the addition of this lovely, loft boutique at 16 Salem St, it proves that timing is critical and maybe even magical. What better way, and time, to dress up Salem Street than with this addition to downtown.Wanderlust - Thomasville
In October the availability of the space that houses Wanderlust, “fell into my lap”, Sink says. She describes, with a twinkle in her eye, how it has been a dream of hers, since childhood, to own her own store. “I took a leap of faith and just did it”, she recalls. The name Wanderlust reflects a sense of adventure, travel and whimsy, and the name was the brainchild of Michelle’s daughter, Rylee. Wanderlust was the name chosen by Rylee for her virtual store that was a high school project last year. Michelle thought it was a
perfect name for this new adventure and her new store.
Sink’s inventory is a mix of items from local artists, unique ladies apparel, shoes and jewelry, as well as home accessory items with uplifting messages scrolled across them. In the future Michelle would like to add children’s clothing items as well. The store is open from 12-6pm on Thursday and Friday, 11am-6pm on Saturday and 1pm-5pm on Sunday. Details of items available, specials and more can be found on Wanderlust Clothing & Accessory Boutique Facebook page and Instagram @wanderlustclothingandaccessoryboutique.Wanderlust - ThomasvilleWanderlust - ThomasvilleWanderlust - Thomasville
