Second and Green Tavern: Go to Key West in Winston-Salem


On June 17, Second and Green Tavern will be holding a special gala with proceeds going to OUT at the Movies Int’l LGBT Film Fest & The North Star LGBT Center. The gala is promising a night of delicious food, drinks, fun & live entertainment. Some of the night’s performers include Aurora Carlisle, Shofonda Jade-Addams, Andrea (Chocolate) Carlilse, Paisley Parque, Petite Dee Jonville and male dancers. The event will be from 7 pm until 11 pm.
Tickets are available at a variety of levels ranging from $10 admission to $300 for VIP tables with premium drinks included. There will be an after party from 11 pm until 2 am for VIPs. Out at the Movies Winston was founded in August 2004 by Rex Welton and Lee Mecum and is a film series/festival that benefits the UNCSA’s School of Filmmaking and the Adam Foundation.
Located on Burke Street, The North Star LGBT Center is dedicated to enriching the lives of the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Questioning) community by providing a safe and accepting place for people of all ages and backgrounds.
