Meridian Celebrates 11 Years By Timothy G. Beeman II On Sunday, February 25th, Meridian Restaurant will be celebrating their 11th anniversary party. It so happens to coincide with Mardi Gras “season” so Meridian will celebrate both at the same time. Meridian always does food right and this year’s anniversary feast includes oysters on the half shell, crawfish pie, jambalaya, muffalletta, gumbo file, a shrimp boil, bread pudding with whiskey sauce, King cake and pecan pralines.
