Tapped into Craft Libations and Victuals: Foothills Brewing Jade IPA

Tapped into Craft Libations and Victuals

Foothills Brewing
Jade IPA
From Spencer:
We kick off the year with one of the best beers made in the state! The Foothills Jade is named after the Pacific Jade Hop but also is dry-hopped with Chinook and Citra hops.  This is a dry IPA that has big notes of tropical fruit and pine aromas. Moderate to heavy on the bitterness that pours a nice white cap head. The finish has a peppery mouthful that blends in perfectly with the body. This is how an IPA is made to perfection.
From Tim: We had this on The Less Desirables, and I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of IPAs. It’s just not my favorite style. But, I appreciate the beer process and you have to give props to Foothills for putting this beer together. I don’t rate only on preference, but on how well the brewer(s) did in staying with the style they were trying to produce. I drank two of these and I did actually enjoy it. Because I think Foothills did a good job with this style and this was a good brew, I’m rating it 3.75 pints out of 5.
