Tapped into Craft Libations and Victuals: Lazy Bird Brown Ale from Birdsong Brewing Company

Tapped into Craft Libations and Victuals:
Lazy Bird Brown Ale from Birdsong Brewing Company

From Tim: We had this beer on The Less Desirables recently, and we also had Birdsong in the studio for an upcoming episode of Sipping NC: The Art of Drinking podcast. The guys at Birdsong know how to brew good beer. Even my least favorite of their brews were in the 4.0 out of 5 range. That’s pretty good. By far, my favorite beer from them was the Lazy Bird Brown Ale. Lazy Bird is drinkable no matter the season and no matter the weather. Tasting more like a porter without being as heavy as one, you can easily mow the lawn and have one of these as you could sitting by the fire when it’s snowing outside. Great roasted flavor with hints of dark chocolate and robust coffee notes, the rich dark colored beverage is sure to knock your socks off. Birdsong is doing great work in Charlotte and this beer is proof of that.
