Eat, Drink, and Bowl!
People are proving that having things to do when they’re out with their friends having food and drinks is a trend that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The popularity of ax-throwing venues over the past few years showed everyone that very thing. And whilebowling alleys have been around since the Flinstones, the soon-to-open Bourbon Bowl located in downtown Greensboro is definitely not your parent’s bowling alley.
Instead of a massive building with lane after lane, Bourbon Bowl is what you could call a ‘boutique’ bowling experience. Paul Talley, the owner, has been talking to the city since late 2019 about the concept. “We will have a full bar along with a full kitchen offering everything from fried pork skins to salads to burgers to tuna. We have a patio that is open-air with a delightful waterfall along with six full-size bowling lanes designed to host groups or individuals. All which is handicap accessible.”
It was originally supposed to open in the summer of 2020 (but we all know how that played out with COVID-19 busting up everyone’s party). Once they open, guests will be able to eat, drink, and bowl their way to good times!
